Advantage Systems (AS) was founded in May of 1986 by Mr. Brian D. Lynch. The Company was formed to better distribute the CONTRACK™ accounting and project management software. Since it was formed, the Company’s business-focus has matured to include development, marketing, distribution and support of additional vertical market applications.

Impressed with CONTRACK’s on-line transaction processing capabilities, the Company was approached by a local Mortgage Banker in 1991, to provide the capability to manage their “Trust Accounting” to comply with California law. In meeting that requirement, the Company saw an opportunity to expand its markets and provide a much needed accounting solution to the Mortgage Banking Industry.

The development of the AMB (Accounting for Mortgage Bankers) software has given the Company a broader base of clients and minimized the Company’s exposure to the economy of one industry.

In addition to developing superior accounting solutions for the industries served, Advantage Systems has sought to provide an unparalleled level of support. Support calls are promptly addressed and the Company has, from it’s inception, used products like PC-ANYWHERE and GOTOMYPC.COM to provide on-line support of its clients.

The Company is small but growing. Support personnel have been, and are expected to remain at the level of one per hundred clients. There are currently four programmers on staff with a full time tester.

Mr. Lynch is a California CPA (inactive) and has an extensive background in accounting systems, financial analysis, project management and software sales. Mr. Lynch’s accounting background has been extremely useful in the development and sales of the Company’s products. In addition to defining the firm’s objectives and developing its business strategies, Mr. Lynch also manages the Company’s day to day operations.
